JSU adopts pass/no credit grading policy due to COVID-19 pandemic

Jacksonville State University announced on Tuesday evening that the university will adopt the pass/no credit grading policy for the spring 2020 semester. The policy will apply to most undergraduate and graduate students.

SGA elections to take place April 14: Meet the candidates

OPINION: JSU will overcome COVID-19, as we did with the tornadoes

Jacksonville State University is among the best campuses in the nation. The student-teacher ratio is bearable, there are several things to do on and off campus, plenty of good eats both on and off campus, excellent facilities, including a new recreation center and even plans to expand the university.

How mental health awareness is trending in society and at Jacksonville State University

Over the past several years, society has collectively made efforts to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. Getting educated, learning about available resources, and raising awareness are all ways people have become more informed about mental illnesses. This is especially true for college students, but society as a whole has become much more mindful about mental health, as well.
